A couple weeks ago I met up with Matt M. in Kalamazoo for dinner and a concert by the Corn Fed Girls at Bell's. Someone caught the last song of the evening on video and I just found it on YouTube. The sound quality isn't great, but I love the song, and the band.
The Corn Fed Girls played my birthday party last year. This year another Kalamazoo musician, Michael Beauchamp, headlined. He pretty much had the room at hello. And then there were the duets with Dena. Whew. Such a delightful night. Here's Michael performing "Marry Me," Again, the sound quality isn't great. It only hints at the soulful timbre in his voice.
