As much as I love "good grammar," if it makes the world a "better place" (causing "spontaneous" bursts of laughter, as it did for me), then I am "all for" the "Unnecessary use of Quotation marks." Maybe, we could change the "rule" to "require" "unnecessary" quotation-marking.
